HUMAN BRAIN MICROVASCULAR ENDOTHELIAL CELLS, 1 vial
Human Brain Microvascular Endothelial Cells (HBMEC) are primary endothelial cells derived from the microvasculature of the human brain. These cells serve as an essential in vitro model for studying the blood–brain barrier (BBB), vascular permeability, neuroinflammation, and endothelial transport mechanisms. HBMEC are widely used in neuroscience and pharmacological research to investigate brain endothelial function, drug delivery, and neurovascular disorders such as Alzheimer’s disease, multiple sclerosis, and stroke. Each vial contains a cryopreserved, ready-to-culture population of HBMEC that retains endothelial morphology, expression of tight junction proteins, and responsiveness to cytokine stimulation. Ideal for applications in BBB modeling, neurovascular biology, and cerebrovascular disease studies.
